The Nors building project aimed at rejuvenating its aesthetic appearance and improving its overall energy efficiency. The primary objective of this project is the complete remodelling of its façade, introducing a new efficient cladding that not only improves the visual presence of the building but also complies with contemporary sustainable and thermal standards.

In addition to the cladding replacement, the project includes a thoughtful integration of windows designed to optimize natural light within the interior spaces. These windows not only serve a functional purpose but are also carefully positioned and equipped with horizontal and vertical visors to filter and control the entry of sunlight. This dual approach ensures a harmonious balance between well-lit interiors and effective solar heat management, contributing to a more comfortable and energy-efficient indoor environment.

Beyond the confines of the Nors building itself, the project sought to enhance the surrounding industrial area.

The architectural design of the building reflects a thoughtful approach to energy efficiency and sustainability, manifesting in a tripartite structure consisting of the basement, the main building, and the rear building.

At the core of this sustainability initiative is the integration of photovoltaic solar panels, which are poised to become an integral part of the building’s energy infrastructure. By incorporating solar panels into the design, the building aims to reduce its reliance on conventional energy sources and make a positive contribution to the environment.
