Rough on the outside and smooth on the inside, the Noturno piece features a play of reflections reminiscent of a scenic effect of light against light, where beauty is introduced on top of a functional structure.
The presence of lighting in a scenic composition can’t be considered as an separate expression of the scene. The light is a fundamental element in the visualization as all the other scenic parts, if it doesn’t have this consideration, it disharmonizes the composition between them.
This piece was born out of a desire to emphasise light in a sober and scenic way. It directs and distributes the light so that it doesn’t get lost, using vertical light contrasted with a horizontal strip of cast bronze.
