Recognising the emblematic value of this building, the intervention sought to preserve its memory without neglecting the urgent improvements and modernisation. The building’s rehabilitation is essential for the preservation of its architectural heritage and the collective memory of the place.
The new façade solution plays with the vertical and horizontal fins, with variable alignments depending on the solar exposure. The platform on the two lower floors is supporting the upper office tower.
When we enter the building, the double height ceiling main lobby offers a very comfortable and light space. The lighting and the architecture elements (such as the opaque screens on both levels or the artistic existing mural) turn the double height ceiling into a perfect and more human scale.
