Interior Designer or Architect (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment)

Openbook Studio is looking for a skilled Interior Designer or Architect with experience in FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) to join our team and contribute to the development of high-quality interior and architectural projects.

Responsibilities

  • Design and development of furniture and FF&E packages for interior projects, from concept to completion.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and translate them into tailored design solutions.
  • Support and preparation of documentation for all the FF&E proposal stages – presentations with concept design, schematic design, schedules, bill of quantities, cost estimates, etc.
  • Support and preparation of reports and presentations for all stages
  • Revit modelling and collaborative work (BIM 360) – Model and develop furniture layouts and bespoke furniture pieces
  • Knowledge of the company’s documentation system in place
  • Prepare and present project proposals to clients
  • Manage project budgets and schedules

Abilities

  • Degree in architecture, interior architecture or interior design
  • 2 to 5 years of professional experience working with furniture and FF&E design.
  • Experience in Workplace, Hospitality and Residential
  • Spoken and written fluency in English, and other languages is a plus
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • A collaborative team player with a strong sense of responsibility and commitment.
  • Proactive mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge BIM (Revit) it’s a plus
  • Skills in 3D modeling and Adobe Creative Suite (especially InDesign and Photoshop) are a plus.
  • Highly organized and resourceful, with a sharp eye for materials, color, and detail.
  • Solid knowledge of brands, suppliers, products, and industry standards.
