Finalist at Prémios Construir 2025 – Architectural Rehabilitation
We’re proud that Largo do Terreiro, a project that was developed by Openbook Architecture, has been shortlisted for Prémios Construir 2025 by Jornal CONSTRUIR in the Architectural Rehabilitation category.
Situated along Porto’s riverside, this mid-18th-century building has long stood out for its unique character. Our rehabilitation focused on a clear ambition: to preserve its historical essence, while introducing modern standards of comfort and sustainability. From the original ceilings, arcades, and stained-glass windows to the carved stone frames and antique tiles on the façade, every detail was meticulously restored. With the support of BIM technology, we ensured precision and respect for the building’s original design, down to the finest detail.
This recognition is a testament to the dedication of our partners, suppliers, and technical teams, especially to the partnership with Gorvell and the management of ALPHALINK – Gestão de Projectos. Thank you for the opportunity to help us bring this vision to life, restoring history and giving it back to the city of Oporto.
